When you’re starting out on the vegan journey there are just SO many questions and emotions and it’s overwhelming.
Anybody including myself who’s been there has had similar questions. Some of us took a long time to get there and went through ups and downs trying different things, being the lone wolf in a crowd, and wondering if we’re getting the right nutrition.
Everyone has their own process when they decide to go vegan. Maybe you’ve decided to do it overnight, or maybe you’re taking your time. Either way, it’s important to do it in a way that feels good to you, and that’s good for your health. I also believe that it should be an enjoyable process and made more simple!
If you’re just starting out there are a few things you can do right away to help you along the path.
Find someone who is already vegan, there are lots of us out there! They may become a mentor, a friend, or just someone you can turn to for resources. If you don’t know anyone personally then go online as there are many forums and places for people starting out, as well as for those that are more experienced. Usually those that have walked the path before are really happy to help out.
If you don’t want to do this alone you don’t have to, and you can do it in a way that is simpler, happy and healthier.
I’ve created a full program for brand new vegans or for people wanting to making the transition. I’ve made it for people just like you. Right now the program is offered in Toronto, Ontario. In the near future it will be available online!
